Purpose: To regulate the use of fireworks/explosive/pyrotechnics in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public and Normandale Community College property.

Part 1: No person shall have in his or her possession, offer for sale, explode or cause to explode, any fireworks, firecrackers, or other explosive devices.

Part 2: No organization, club or program shall have fireworks/explosives/pyrotechnics in theatrical presentations located within the buildings or property of Normandale Community College

Policy History: Policy implemented after entertainer used pyrotechnics in theater without proper notification.
