Senior Adults
Minnesota residents aged 62 or older before the first day of the term may register for courses at a reduced tuition rate. To claim the senior rate, seniors must self-identify, provide proof of age and register no sooner than the first day of the term. When enrolling for credit, seniors pay reduced tuition and remain responsible for all fees, including special course fees. Seniors do not pay tuition for audited courses; however, they are still responsible for fees, including special course fees.
To be eligible to take courses using the reduced tuition and rate, students must
- Apply online.
- Submit the Senior Citizen Registration Form, which can be found on the Student Services Official Forms page under Records and Registration Forms.
