Admission Requirements

Any individual who has graduated from high school or passed the General Education Development (GED) examination is eligible for general undergraduate admission to Normandale Community College. Students applying to study on a student (F-1) visa or while they are still in high school have additional admissions requirements. Admission to the college does not automatically qualify a student for all courses and programs. Please refer to the Course Placement section of this catalog for further information.

A student who was suspended from another college or university for academic reasons within the year prior to their application will need to complete the admissions appeal process before being considered for admission. The student will receive notification of the results of the appeal.

A student who was suspended or expelled from another college or university for disciplinary reasons shall be denied admission.
