Attendance

Students are expected to attend all classes and are responsible for all instruction, coursework, and deadlines. When other unavoidable circumstances prevent the student from attending, they should consult the course syllabus and talk with their instructor, in advance when possible, about possible arrangements to make up work.. Students should understand that many faculty consider course participation when determining final grades. Decisions about whether missed work can be made up, and any associated penalties, are at the instructor’s discretion.
