Registration Credit Limit

The number of credits a student is encouraged to take depends on their individual circumstances. As such, Normandale recommends that students consult their advisor before they register each semester to ensure they are selecting the right number of credits and selection of courses. Any student who wishes to register for more than 18 credits during fall and spring semesters or 14 credits during summer (with a recommendation that a student enrolls in no more than 8 credits in a session) must submit a Credit Limit Override eForm, available from www.normandale.edu/forms.

Minnesota State restricts students to a maximum term enrollment of 22 credits System-wide.
