MUSC 1151 Applied Music 1
Students pursuing a degree in music have weekly private instruction with an artist-level teacher on their respective instruments. Weekly lessons include topics such as: freshman repertoire development, technical studies, instrument-specific issues, student recital preparation, and performance concerns. This course is the first half of a two-year sequence designed to prepare a student for audition and transfer into a music program at a junior level. The foundational skills acquired will be necessary to prepare for successful transition to the sophomore level
MUSC 2251 Applied Music 2. This course may be taken twice for a maximum total of 2 credits.
